What You Will Be Doing
Tesseract Health is looking for an experienced Mobile Software Engineer to lead the development of our iPad app, which will help us develop industry-leading disease prediction applications. This engineer is someone who is passionate about building customer-centric products that allow users to provide better care to patients.
As a Mobile Software Engineer at Tesseract, you will create the interface and experience through which our customers interact with our product offering. You will create software that will interface with embedded software and cloud backend components and drive the workflow for managing and processing patient information.
This is a hands-on role to develop best-in-class mobile experiences to help bring Tesseract solutions to our customers.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be to:
- Take ownership and responsibility for designing, building, testing, iterating, releasing, and maintaining the Tesseract iOS application.
- Work in collaboration with the product, medical, and engineering teams to create a delightful user experience.
- Work with a team of software engineers across front-end, mobile, and machine learning applications.
- Support new feature development and deployment, and design scalable systems to help us bring our groundbreaking medical device to market.
What We Are Looking For
Baseline Skills, Experiences, & Attributes:
- 3+ years experience in building mobile applications on iOS
- In-depth understanding of Swift and iOS SDK
- Strong UI development skills
- Experience working with backend server APIs
- Experience creating cross-team agreement on engineering solutions and architecture decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building systems in compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, ISO27001, SOC-2, etc.
- Experience with EMR, EHR integration, HL7, FHIR, etc
- High-level knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, and model development
- Experience working with medical image data in the DICOM format for production and regulated clinical applications
- Hands on experience with software development in the medical device field, following regulations such as 13485 or 62304
