We are seeking a Director of Treasury to lead our global treasury strategy and function. This leadership role will be responsible for managing cash, liquidity, investments, and debt portfolio decisions, ensuring financial flexibility to support our continued expansion. This leadership role will have the opportunity to build a world-class treasury function including, but not limited to, payments processing, credit and collections, banking, and risk management capabilities. This role will partner with finance leadership and with banking partners to drive best-in-class treasury operations in a high-growth, international environment.
This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; or Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:
- Cash & Liquidity Management: Oversee and optimize management of a $400M+ cash portfolio, ensuring adequate liquidity to support operational and strategic needs.
- Capital Markets: Lead treasury strategy to support startup fundraising activities, working closely with finance and executive leadership on equity and debt raises.
- Investment & Debt Management: Develop and execute strategies for a balanced mix of investments and debt, optimizing returns while mitigating risk.
- International Banking: Manage global banking relationships and international cash operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management across jurisdictions.
- Risk & Compliance: Implement treasury policies, controls, and risk management strategies, including FX risk management.
- Treasury Operations: Lead treasury technology and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting.
- IPO Readiness: Partner with leadership to prepare the company for potential IPO readiness, working closely with investment banking partners and financial advisors.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of treasury and/or banking experience, including demonstrated leadership in corporate treasury or investment banking.
- High-growth technology company experience, ideally in a startup or scaling environment.
- Deep expertise in leading investment and debt strategies and in managing a $400M+ cash portfolio.
- Strong international banking experience, managing treasury functions across multiple geographies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and scale a world-class Treasury function.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Masters degree in related discipline is a plus.
- IPO experience is a strong plus.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
