We are seeking an experienced Market Intelligence Analyst to lead competitive intelligence, market research, and industry engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of AI compute markets, spanning AI accelerators, GPUs, NPUs, data center infrastructure, and the intersection of AI software and hardware ecosystems. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Strategy, and Engineering to ensure Tenstorrent stays ahead of market trends and competitor strategies.This position is a strategic role that directly influences Tenstorrent’s go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and competitive differentiation.

This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Competitive Intelligence:
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of the AI silicon, AI IP, and RISC-V CPU landscape, tracking major players, market trends, and disruptive innovations.
    • Develop a structured market intelligence framework, identifying emerging threats and opportunities across cloud, edge, automotive, and enterprise AI workloads.
    • Provide insights into AI compute performance, cost efficiency, software adoption trends, and customer pain points across accelerators, GPUs, TPUs, and NPUs.
  • Industry & Analyst Engagement:
    • Own and lead Tenstorrent’s engagement with industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC), ensuring our market positioning is well-represented.
    • Establish ongoing relationships with semiconductor and AI research firms, gaining early access to emerging market data and trends.
    • Represent Tenstorrent in strategic industry discussions, gathering insights that shape sales, marketing, and product roadmaps.
  • Strategic Insights & Reporting:
    • Develop executive-level briefings on market trends, competitive shifts, pricing strategies, and ecosystem movements to inform CEO, COO, and senior leadership.
    • Track competitor roadmaps, business models, and partnerships, providing data-driven insights to Sales, Product, and Strategy teams.
    • Build and maintain a centralized market intelligence repository with regular updates and structured reporting.
  • Internal Collaboration & Business Impact:
    • Work closely with Product and Engineering to align Tenstorrent’s technology strategy with evolving customer and market demands.
    • Provide real-time intelligence on customer purchasing behaviors, cloud AI adoption trends, and IP licensing opportunities.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: Deep expertise in AI silicon, AI Systems, and or RISC-V CPU / AI IP, with an understanding of AI software stacks, ML models, and cloud deployment trends.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in market intelligence, competitive analysis, or strategy roles in AI hardware, semiconductors, or high-performance computing.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical and market data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience engaging with industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) and ecosystem partners.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with expertise in market modeling, TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic business reporting.
  • Self-starter with a strong ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to C-suite executives.
