Tenstorrent is growing and we are looking for an Atlassian Administrator.  As an Atlassian Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting our Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation, configuration, and customization of these tools to meet the needs of our organization. You will partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, drive efficient processes, and foster collaboration using Atlassian tools.

This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA, Toronto, ON, Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, upgrade, grow, and operate our Atlassian application infrastructure, including Confluence, JIRA, and JIRA Service Management
  • Support existing Jira workflows and business processes, working with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement new workflows, and improve existing ones
  • Provide support and advanced troubleshooting for the entire user base
  • Manage user permissions according to the needs of spaces and teams
  • Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and general system configuration
  • In partnership with stakeholders, address business problems and provide scalable solutions using Atlassian products
  • Identify areas of improvement within the Atlassian suite and perform analysis and review of current workflows, projects, permissions, and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Atlassian tools, including performance, access, and functionality
  • Create and update documentation on the configuration and administration of Atlassian products
  • Build dashboards and reports to support business stakeholders
  • Conduct training for employees and new hires on the usage of Atlassian tools
  • Stay informed about the latest features, updates, and trends in Atlassian tools and recommend improvements for their optimal usage
  • Conduct regular audits and optimizations of Atlassian tool configurations, user access, and permission settings
  • Maintain governance policies, security controls, and compliance standards related to Atlassian tools

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with deploying, configuring, maintaining, and migrating Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management instances in an enterprise environment
  • Proficiency as a Jira Administrator, managing assets, custom fields, projects, workflows, configurations, permissions, automations, and schema
  • Experience with JQL, creating and maintaining custom workflows, dashboards, and reports in Jira
  • 3-5 years of experience in administering Atlassian products, both cloud and on-prem
  • Familiarity with Atlassian architecture, API, database tables, application logs, and email handlers
  • Able to evaluate, test, and configure add-ons
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of issues
  • Strong knowledge of Jira Service Management, including request types, forms, queues, SLAs, etc.
  • Understanding of business processes and how Atlassian tools can improve them
  • Forge/Python scripting experience
  • Strong Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodology knowledge
  • Atlassian certifications e.g., ACP-100, ACP120 strongly preferred

 

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
