We are seeking an experienced University Recruiter to join our dynamic recruiting team. This is an incredible opportunity to execute a global university recruiting strategy for an AI hardware powerhouse on a mission to build the world's best AI accelerators. The ideal candidate will have a background in recruiting early-career candidates from academic institutions, building relationships with universities, and overseeing the entire recruitment process for interns. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for identifying and attracting top talent from universities, and a willingness to travel to represent Tenstorrent on-campus. This role is hybrid, based out of Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the entire internship recruitment process across all hiring verticals, including Hardware, Software, Product, and Operations, from initial screening to offer extension.
  • Work with recruiting leadership to refine and amplify a comprehensive university recruiting strategy that addresses the global technical and non-technical hiring needs. 
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Operations team to ensure a smooth and efficient interview process focused on candidate experience and equity.
  • Own and drive relationships with career services, faculty, and student organizations at target universities.
  • Project manage the scheduling and facilitation of all on-campus recruiting events, including career fairs, tech talks, and interview days.
  • Travel to on-campus events and assist with full-time hiring event travel as needed.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-life cycle university recruitment role. Ideally with a public company or a fast-paced scaling startup. 
  • Proven track record of successful university recruiting and relationship-building with academic institutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Passion for working with students and early-career professionals.
  • A keen interest in engineering concepts and the ability to understand and communicate technical roles and requirements effectively.

 

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
