Job Description 

 A Senior Associate within Teneo Risk is a core team member leveraging project management and consulting experience to support and develop critical client deliverables. The Senior Associate will also have an opportunity to work on client teams to deliver client work. This will require the Senior Associate to demonstrate strong communication skills. Senior Associates are highly motivated and dedicated individuals who can collaborate with internal team members on strategy, new business development, client solutions, thought leadership, and industry trends. 

 

As a Senior Associate within Teneo’s Risk Intelligence team, the individual will partner with the team to manage the day-to-day execution of Teneo Risk’s Digital Intelligence capabilities. This role is responsible for maintaining a network of intelligence resources and open-source/social media analysis tools that will improve Teneo Risk’s ability to identify threats and emerging risks in client engagements. 

 

The ideal candidate is someone with experience supporting a Risk Intelligence division or practice area at a Fortune 500 firm or major security consultancy, with a particular focus on Digital Intelligence solutions. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist with client engagements and workstreams related to Digital Intelligence, particularly open-source intelligence monitoring of security, operational, and reputational threats and emerging risks to Teneo clients 
  • Support fast-paced Digital Intelligence requirements – including OSINT monitoring, analytical intelligence products, and related client deliverables. 
  • Guide junior analysts in Digital Intelligence workstreams and client engagements.  
  • Drive impact and value on critical issues that confront security leaders such as CSOs, CISOs, General Counsel, and Chief Risk Officers  
  • Assist project teams with the monitoring and analysis of emerging threats, working with project leads to understand how threats might impact our clients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  
  • Experience in and desire and dedication to delivering project deliverables and meeting milestones  

 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience as an intelligence analyst or risk intelligence specialist, specifically focusing on Digital Intelligence functions. 
  • Experience with open-source intelligence and social media analysis tools, including deep and dark web platforms; experience conducting advanced internet-based research using Boolean logic. 
  • Strong understanding of industry-leading OSINT tools and capabilities  
  • Experience leading workstreams and managing other analysts.  
  • A bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, government, economics, cybersecurity policy, or a related field is required; a master’s degree in similar fields is strongly preferred.  
  • Illustrate strong critical thinking and writing skills. 
  • Working knowledge of at least one other language (Spanish, Chinese, French, or Russian) is strongly preferred.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, charts, functions, etc.)  
  • Expertise in the development, design, and delivery of the analytic methodology and approach for building intelligence products and services 
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions through to resolution. 
  • Maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and naturally innovates with ideas, approaches, products, etc., and approaches complex issues with intellectual rigor and good judgment.

Base Salary Range $100,000 – $130,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed). 

 

Bonus Eligible Yes 

 

Total Compensation Package Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and rewards. 

 

Flexible Work Policy Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York, Washington D.C, San Francisco and Boston offices, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three times a week.
