Award-winning TiMi Studio Group seeks a Senior Technical Designer to develop a AAA, open-world game based on a new IP. The project will be released on multiple platforms using Unreal’s latest technology. As a Senior Technical Designer, your role will be to develop content creation pipelines and features that support an innovative gameplay direction.

What will you do?


The Senior Technical Designer works in collaboration with the Technical Design Director, Level Design Director and Programmers to develop pipelines, scripts and data structures required to produce game content. They offer guidelines and support for a team of designers, identifying technological improvements that maximize quality, performance and efficiency. They are comfortable working in a highly collaborative and innovative environment.


  • Develop scalable design content production pipeline and tools that support our creative vision
  • Establish rules and guidelines for content production and data management
  • Implement technical elements based on game’s content
  • Collaborate with programming team to guide feature development
  • Support a team of designers to build content efficiently and consistently
  • Define performance budgets for specific components of the game
  • Profile and optimize performance on console/PC
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Develop robust test plans in collaboration with QA team
  • Test new tools & pipelines before their distribution to all team members

What we’re looking for?

  • At least six years of professional AAA game development experience 
  • At least one AAA open world titles shipped in the current generation of consoles
  • Experience in the overall design and implementation of at least one of the following topics: combat, world design, AI, gameplay metrics, quest scripting, data structure
  • Experience with game editor tool development
  • Ability to develop scripts autonomously using Python, C# or visual scripting
  • Excellent understanding of content production, integration and validation
  • Team player, highly collaborative and results oriented
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Autonomous and proactive to develop highly efficient solutions
  • Curious about learning and implementing new technologies based on industry trends
  • Experience developing in and extending Unreal Engine 4 a plus
