Tencent is looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager that will be responsible for
assisting with the development, execution, and management of successful Influencer marketing
programs. The successful candidate must possess an interest in the video games industry to
join the growing IEG (Interactive Entertainment Group) North America publishing team. This role
will play an integral role in executing North American Influencer Marketing strategies and
campaigns. The Influencer Marketing Manager will work with the Influencer marketing
team on mobile, console and PC games, helping to develop larger global campaigns to put
them into action across North America.

Job Duties
1. Assist in collaborating with internal stakeholders (including Brand Marketing, Product
Development, Business Intelligence, Creative Development, Finance, Community, and
Executive Management)
2. Play a key role in identifying and advocating for influencer initiatives that will improve
audience acquisition, retention, and growth.
3. Facilitate the creation of influencer content marketing strategies and campaigns to support
overall strategic marketing plans.
4. Collaborate with community and game management teams to establish goals and objectives
to achieve KPI’s.
5. Communicate and coordinate between teams to align all team members; insure
communication between teams are transparent.
6. Project management: monitor status of initiatives from kick-off to post performance review --
check milestones and timelines to insure on time delivery key assets and information.

Required Skills / Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of Influencer Marketing or Community management experience with
    experience managing influencers and/or communities --preferably on a high-profile
    brand
  • Business/Marketing Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
    required
  • Experience in brand marketing or marketing operations
  • Self motivated, detailed oriented, independent, organized and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple business units and product teams
  • Great teammate with strong collaboration skills who is comfortable with open and consistent communication
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and writing skills
  • Meticulous level of detail and proficiency in using content management systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Avid gamer with extended experience in console and mobile products a plus
