The Business Development role will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive business development partnerships in the interactive gaming space.  The candidate must have the ability to prepare and present proposals to both internal management teams as well as external partners (including Legal, Marketing, Product Development, Business Intelligence, and Executive Management).

  1. Drive partnership planning and management including developing comprehensive partnership strategy for products that expand the brand image and reinforce key messaging that reinforces the overall vision
  2. Analyze local market and identify new partnership opportunities with key partners in key business development areas including gaming
  3. Develop market research and main competitor analysis reports to better support partnership management decision-making
  4. Manage all partnership activity and provide insightful analysis and guidance that result in identifying business growth opportunities
  5. Support day to day operations for the marketing approval process for all partnerships
  6. Drive weekly syncs between marketing, product development, and legal to achieve strategic objectives and future planning
  7. Manage, guide, and mentor direct reports and assist with career and skills development

Required Skills / Experience

  • At least 3+ years of Business Development experience preferably on high-profile brands
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with major U.S. partners and familiarity working with game developers
  • Business/Marketing Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required
  • Self-motivated, detailed oriented, independent, organized, and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple business units and product teams
  • Great teammate with strong collaboration skills who is comfortable with open and consistent communication 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and writing skills
  • Meticulous level of detail and proficiency in using business analysis tools
  • Knowledge and/or experience in interactive entertainment industries
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Experience in managing brand partnership agencies is a plus 
  • Avid gamer with extended experience in console and mobile products a plus
  • Travel, as necessary, to both US and international locations
