Your Role:
Do you have a passion for solving customer problems and desire a high-impact role to help deliver on the Tenable One Exposure Management product strategy? The Senior Product Manager is expected to be skilled at researching and helping solve under-met or underserved customer outcomes. Working in close collaboration with Engineering, UX, Sales, and PMM, they will help translate the vision and strategy into high-quality capabilities and products that Tenable can deliver to the market.
Your Opportunity:
- Collaborate with customer success and sales teams to gather customer
- feedback and ensure the product meets user needs. Participate in customer calls and represent the voice of the customer
- Partner with key customers and internal stakeholders to identify, prioritize, develop, and deliver world-class cyber-exposure SaaS/PaaS offerings
- Define product features and functionality based on user needs, market demand, and company priorities. Manage the product backlog and work with engineering teams on execution
- Identify and negotiate priorities with key stakeholders to ensure the customer need is met
- Work iteratively, breaking down large items in phases
- Ability to clearly define and communicate product requirements
- Be creative when solutions are not obvious
- Lead via influence and credibility
- Experience working distributed teams
- Utilize customer insights, product analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide product development decisionsCommunicate to executive leadership and provide visibility to team contributions
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization
- Be an active participant in the execution of go-to-market, launch activities, and conferences
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience building or maintaining enterprise security products
- Based in the greater Boston MA, San Jose/ San Francisco CA, or Baltimore/Columbia MD areas
- Broad knowledge of IT security markets and products
- Ability to drive the product strategy, influence stakeholders, motivate engineering, and deliver the product strategy through the entire software development lifecycle
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively navigate across the
- organization to align required resources to achieve your goals
- Be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to pick up a project, own it, and drive it to completion
- Effective communication skills to present your work across the organization from engineering to executive level
- Fast learner able to pick up new concepts, technologies and challenges with ease
- Willingness to step into projects, create user stories, groom the backlog, and keep the team laser focused
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment
- Strong experience with hybrid agile development
- Experience with enterprise-level platform architectures: PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS
- Experience with Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures (REST APIs)
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
