Your Role:

The PCI ASV Analyst plays a key role in assisting our customers seeking to meet requirement 11.2.2 for PCI-DSS compliance ASV external scanning. As a PCI ASV Analyst, you will be in charge of all customer-engaging efforts related to Tenable’s status as a PCI Approved Scanning Vendor.

Your Opportunity:

Reviews scans submitted through Tenable’s PCI Scanning Service for attestation
Research validity of customer-submitted scan disputes through the review of all required evidence, independent analysis, and recreating specific scenarios in a lab environment
Help customers navigate the PCI ASV scan submission process
Work with Technical Support Engineers to ensure proper handling of PCI questions
Identify areas of workflow and process improvements within the PCI ASV duties
Maintain PCI ASV certification and CPE hours
Other PCI ASV duties as assigned

What you'll need:

At least five (5) years of information security experience with:
- A minimum of one (1) year in vulnerability scanning and/or penetration testing
- At least two (2) years in any two of the following areas of expertise (with a minimum of one year in each discipline): Network security, Application security, System security, IT security auditing, IT security risk assessment
Preferably holds one of the current industry-recognized security certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP CCSP, GWAPT, Current PCI-QSA or PCI-ASV Certification
Must obtain PCI Certification within 3 months of employment

Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systems administration and security posturing
In-depth knowledge of network devices, their deployment and typical configurations
In-depth knowledge of networking
Knowledge of various web servers and other externally facing software applications
Experience is vulnerability scans, web app configuration scanning
Knowledge of CVSS scoring and how to use NVD to verify CVE’s
Customer service experience within the technical and cybersecurity background
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A high degree of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to comfortably interact with senior management in a consultative manner
Ability to work across different timezones, which may require an adjusted daily schedule on occasion
