What You'll Do
- Report directly to the Regional VP of Sales, spearheading the strategy and execution for our fastest-growing segment
- Build and manage a team of 5 commercial account executives, scaling to 25 plus while fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving sales targets and driving pipeline growth
- Focus on territory planning and execution, with a dedicated emphasis on pipeline generation to support short-term revenue goals and long-term business growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, to align messaging and campaigns for maximum impact on pipeline growth
- Lead by example, providing coaching, mentorship, and support to team members to foster their professional growth and development
- Continuously improve processes for team member onboarding and ramping, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
- Influence and refine the playbook for Commercial sales at Temporal, focusing on continuous improvement and growth
- Foster alignment with supporting teams across customer success, marketing, solutions architects, and professional services to ensure cohesive and successful customer engagements
- Provide support and guidance to direct reports, participating in client and prospect meetings and engaging corporate resources as needed

- Proven experience in successfully selling technical products, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience in effectively managing high-performing software sales teams, driving team success and individual growth
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts, enabling effective communication and education for team members and clients
- Demonstrated experience retaining, and developing teams, with a focus on building a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Passion for coaching and motivating others, leading by example while maintaining humility and empathy

- Experience in managing significant client escalations and issues, ensuring effective resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to lead demand generation activities and execute successful sales campaigns to drive customer awareness and engagement.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams to remove obstacles and improve efficiencies.
- Familiarity with working with Global System Integrators (GSI), Hyperscalers, and Resellers is a plus.
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $239,020-$323,380
- This role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan
