The Role:
We’re looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager with a strong writing instinct and a deep technical backbone to join our driven team.
You will be responsible for creating and managing high-quality technical documentation, ensuring it supports developers in adopting our APIs and integrating Telnyx products efficiently. Your work will help position Telnyx as a leader in developer experience within the communications infrastructure space.
In This Role You Will:
Own the voice of our documentation. Create, edit, and maintain high-impact developer content—including API references, integration guides, changelogs, and in-depth tutorials—for our Voice, Messaging, Wireless, and SIP products.
Translate complexity into clarity. Partner with product, engineering, and support to understand new features inside and out, then craft content that resonates with developers and decision-makers alike.
Act as our internal developer advocate. Test out new features hands-on, provide feedback to the product team, and champion the developer experience from ideation to launch.
Lead the doc strategy. Build and scale systems to keep our content fresh, discoverable, and consistently high quality. You’ll help set the bar—and raise it.
Partner with Marketing & GTM teams. Bring new features to life with launch content, blog posts, and compelling product narratives that show, not just tell, the value of Telnyx.
What We Value:
You’re a builder. Whether it’s Markdown or code, you get your hands dirty. You’ve built developer docs, side projects, or technical blogs that make people’s lives easier.
You speak dev. You’ve worked closely with engineers and product managers, and you’re fluent in REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and command-line tools. Bonus points if you’ve used SIP, WebRTC, or programmable telephony APIs.
You’re obsessed with clarity. You turn walls of technical jargon into elegant, accessible copy
You’re gritty. You work fast, learn faster, and don’t shy away from ambiguity. You’ll roll up your sleeves, debug an example, and jump into Slack threads if that’s what it takes to get it right.
You care about impact. You want your work to matter—to customers and to your team.
Preferred Experience
4+ years in a technical writing or developer advocacy role.
Hands-on experience working with technical products
A portfolio of writing samples, documentation, or product content that showcases your ability to communicate clearly and compellingly to a technical audience
