Job Description

Tekion is seeking an Analytics Specialist to support our Advanced Analytics product which is a critical part of our DMS value and dealer partnership. As an Analytics Specialist, you will help onboard dealers with our new dashboard and reporting product. Strong organizational skills are critical to help manage the multiple teams and tasks involved with setup and launch. Having experience in various retail automotive roles allows you to translate data from all aspects of the DMS software to action for our dealers.

Key Responsibilities

Support stakeholders during the implementation life cycle to successfully deploy Advanced Analytics. 
Manage the dealership relationship during the installation process and beyond. 
Proactively identify implementation risks and mitigate them effectively and efficiently during the DMS setup to ensure that the reporting and dashboard functionality will report accurate data insights. 
Manage training and setup items in an organized manner, keeping detailed notes, and effectively passing along notes and action items to our Partner Success team. 
Utilize industry knowledge (workflows, KPI’s and reporting and dealer terminology) to find meaningful insights to share with our internal product teams to enhance our product.
Determine how various data sets both internal and external to Tekion can be combined to yield compelling insights.
Responsible for data integrity and finding the source of truth.
Develop and leverage industry knowledge to identify important performance trends and key drivers to success that should be viewed and tracked by our Advanced Analytics Platform. 
Actively participate in training dealership clients and find new opportunities for them to maximize their revenue, gross and expense management via data insights. 
Work closely with dealers, the development team and field team to bridge gaps in product and help continuous enhancement. Desire to drive and have insights into the future product roadmap must be a strong interest. You are never satisfied with status quo.

Skills and Experience

0-1 years of retail experience in the auto industry.
Experience using various productivity applications (CRM, Project Management Tools, DMS, Reporting and Dashboards, Communication Tools such as SLACK, JIRA etc.) 
Proven ability to take customer suggestions or insights and translate them into product feedback to the development teams. 
Ability to work in a matrix management environment where work direction often comes from people other than your direct supervisor. 
Strong sense of curiosity and desire to dig into data and insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
5% - 10% travel estimated for key clients – work directly from your home the rest of the time

The salary range for this position is. $72,160 - $122,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
