Job Description
As a Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, support, and solutions related to the Salesforce platform. Your role will involve deep knowledge of Salesforce products, functionalities, best practices, and their application within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and implement Salesforce solutions that align with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, data models, and architectural diagrams. Ensure that all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily understandable by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and customize the Salesforce Application, to help streamline process, improve efficiency & drive business growth.
- To Integrate between Salesforce and external systems such as NetSuite, homegrown solutions, utilizing Salesforce APIs, middleware tools, and custom development. Identify integration patterns, recommend integration technologies, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Responsible for delivering a specification to a team of Salesforce administrators and developers to deliver to the solution.
- Responsible for implementing solutions that support business requirements and drive key decisions that improve processes and productivity.
- Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce implementations.
- Should be an advisor to Business Stakeholders, providing insights and recommendation on how Salesforce can be leveraged to achieve business objectives more effectively.
- Coach and mentor junior technical team members.
Skills and Experience
- 6-8 years experienced in the Salesforce products (Sales, Service, CPQ Plus), and they work with the business analyst(s) and business stakeholders to design the system architecture and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions
- Experience with creating and executing a Salesforce Systems Development Lifecycle. Environment management, configuration and code migration, establishment of development standards.
- Strong background in Salesforce development.
- Excellent communication skills to interact and update executive Leadership and technical teams.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certifications preferred.
- 6+ years of software development background with few years of salesforce development experience preferred.

The salary range for this position is $215,600 - $291,800. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
