Job Description
As a Design Ops Manager at Tekion India Pvt Ltd, you will lead the optimization of design operations and drive efficiency within our dynamic design organization. With a focus on enhancing collaboration, streamlining workflows, and maintaining quality standards, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of innovative products and experiences. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 10+years of experience in the design domain, which includes 2-3 years in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Develop and refine design processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality across teams.
- Tool and Resource Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage design tools and resources to support the needs of the design team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment between design and other departments to drive project success and innovation.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce design standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Training and Development: Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the design team.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement to drive operational excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to align design operations with business objectives and long-term strategy.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in design projects and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and management related to design operations, including resource allocation and tool licensing.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the design team, fostering innovation and learning from successes and failures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the design domain, with at least 2-3 years in a Design Ops Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of design processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools and software, project management tools, and collaboration platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
