Job Description

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in providing cross functional leadership across multiple business partners and initiatives, overseeing the company’s fiscal health, and supporting the annual budget and forecast process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build new analyses, models, and reports that will provide actionable data and help guide decision making. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, possess strong analytical ability, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work and collaborate in a fast paced environment.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes and provide timely and insightful analysis highlighting areas of opportunity and risk  
  • Build deep finance business partnerships with functional leaders to drive regular business reviews to assess operating health & business opportunities and risks 
  • Support, develop, and report key SAAS financial metrics including ARR, Bookings, Net Dollar retention, etc. to help drive strategic decisions  
  • Build and enhance financial models to provide senior leadership with financial analysis and evaluations of deal economics, program profitability, and cost benefit analysis on future and current programs  
  • Be a thoughtful leader and identify areas of efficiency and growth within important lines of the overall P&L  
  • Partner closely with the Accounting team for month-end and quarter-end reporting to improve the predictability of financial results   
  • Drive process and reporting automation and efficiencies  

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or another quantitative major    
  • 6+ year of related experience    
  • Deep understanding of B2B SAAS business & metrics 
  • Business partnership at the executive level with the ability to synthesize and summarize data into clear and concise messages 
  • Experience in financial modeling skills with the ability to independently create solutions and communicate results to executive management   
  • Proven track record of translating insights into action, analyzing large data sets, & influencing business partners to make sound financial decisions 
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP for purposes of financial statement analysis    
  • Experience with a range of accounting ERPs and FP&A software    
  • Comfort working with individuals across all departments and job levels 
  • Ability to handle competing deadlines – and shifting priorities – with minimal supervision 
  • Willing to take feedback, learn and grow, an ethos of continuous self-improvement   

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills  
  • Previous experience working in a SaaS and/or Tech company highly preferred

The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
