About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Retail Specialist, in Product Management who loves challenges, pushes boundaries, and is passionate about building a transformational product. You will help define and drive the product roadmap, manage priorities within cross-functional teams, make smart, data-driven decisions, and help own the product end-to-end from ideation to post-production support. You will be part of a proven world-class technology team that is solving complex problems and delighting our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Voice of the Customer – You will be in front of customers, taking regular feedback, communicating about what we are doing & how we are doing it better, and helping create more customer champions. You will know the business landscape, talk the business language, and help bring our customers & products together.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert – You will validate the products thoroughly before they make it to the customer, and as an internal industry expert provide recommendations to make the platform even more seamless for our dealer partners.
  • Conduct Discoveries – Contribute towards product launches by analyzing new changes that might be required due to new states/market areas, new OEMs, or the size or complexity of the partner's operation, etc. And accordingly updating product priorities to make new launches seamless.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Automotive retail Industry experience with empathy for users and understanding of their processes and requirements.

  • Ability to envision product ideation through post-production release support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working in the automotive retail industry.
  • Dealership sales and finance management experience 
  • Experience with product management & development collaboration.
  • Experience in De-escalating Issues: Proven ability to de-escalate issues and effectively manage customer sentiment, particularly in high-stakes situations.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for automotive products or related technologies.
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: Proven experience in customer engagement, relationship management, and addressing customer needs and concerns.
  • Training and Demo Conducting: Experience in conducting training sessions, demos, webinars, and internal sessions for various stakeholders, including customers and new hires.
  • Travel Experience for Customer Engagement: Previous experience involving travel to better understand customer issues, conduct product discovery, and participate in customer engagement activities.
  • Collaboration with Learning & Development Teams: Previous collaboration with Learning & Development teams to create training materials and release notes for products.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Experience in conducting user acceptance testing for major product releases, ensuring that products meet user expectations and requirements.
  • Product Management Collaboration: Experience working closely with Product Managers to contribute to the development of product features, requirements, and overall product strategy.
  • Sales or Marketing Experience: Sales or marketing experience, especially in promoting and selling automotive products, can be beneficial for effectively communicating product value.
  • Competitor Analysis and Market Research: Background in conducting competitor analysis, market research, and staying informed about industry trends.
  • Product Go-To-Market Strategy: Exposure to contributing to the development of product Go-To-Market strategies, including working with Beta Early Adopters plans.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison Roles: Experience serving as a liaison between different teams, such as the field team, customer support, and product management.

The salary range for this position is $103,600 - $175,100. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locationsThe actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.  In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
