WBNS 10TV, the TEGNA CBS affiliate in Columbus, OH is looking for a creative Sales/Special Projects Producer. The person filling this role will be tasked with creating television and digital marketing materials which advertise our clients. Projects include working on short and long-form commercial production with our Sales, News and Marketing teams. This role includes shooting, video editing and graphic creation.

A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud, professional lighting, field photography cameras, and a minimum of 3-5 years of professional video production experience. Candidates should have a demo reel showcasing examples of their work in shooting, editing and graphic treatments. A college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying sound advertising strategy to develop and execute creative concepts across multiple platforms.
  • Front-line employee for the station that represents the advertising brand externally by interacting with clients through all forms of communication, and internally by working closely across multiple departments.
  • Highly skilled in Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects to produce high-quality material.
  • Participation in client marketing meetings when appropriate to help ensure creative vision to help close deals.
  • Participation in creative concepting, directing clients and talent on shoots and ensuring projects stay on task and on time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in professional video production, preferably a media company and/or advertising agency working in marketing video creation, promotional assets and commercial production.
  • Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Demonstrated understanding of copywriting and scripting ability.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record, as travel may be required for commercial shoots and production meetings with advertisers of the station.
  • Must be able to lift, set-up and operate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
