We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated Copy Coordinator to join our best-in-class Sales Team. Traffic coordinators ensure the appropriate commercial messages are running according to advertiser instructions. Training will be onsite. Once training is complete this position will be hybrid requiring three days per week in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Secure and accurately input traffic instructions for assigned broadcast and digital advertisers
  • Ensure commercials are received, downloaded, and processed correctly by deadlines
  • Work closely with internal (sales department) and external (advertisers) customers in a professional manner
  • Manage revisions and missing instructions for assigned advertisers and communicate with the sales department regarding the status of any issues
  • Manage storage of commercials and purge spots weekly based on expiration dates and client requests
  • Send dub list reports to Master Control and make manual log changes as needed
  • Convert creative to correct video specs for various digital platforms (web and OTT) and traffic them accordingly
  • Check pacing of digital campaigns and request creative for outside contractors on behalf of clients
  • Create and schedule advertiser in-content sponsorship elements (tickers & billboards)

Requirements:

  •   College degree or equivalent experience with at least two years of broadcast or digital traffic experience preferred
  •   Exceptional time management, and oral and written communications skills
  •   Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint
  •   Basic understanding of video codecs, file formats and video management is preferred
  •   Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, high-pressured environment to meet strict deadlines
  •   Superior organizational skills – must be able to manage multiple priorities with confidence, balance, and vigor
  •   Basic understanding of digital ad units and digital marketing technologies
  •   Strong analytical skills: attention to detail, streamline, analyze, and present data to assist with management reporting
  •   Wide Orbit experience a plus
