9NEWS in Denver is looking for a talented and committed Multi-Skilled Journalist to cover the dynamic and rapidly growing counties of northern Colorado.
This position will be based in Fort Collins with a heavy emphasis on stories in Weld and Larimer Counties. We are looking for an individual ready to make a long term commitment to this position. It is not a stepping stone to working in our Denver newsroom.
The successful applicant will be an experienced multiple skilled journalist with strong on camera skills as well as the ability to shoot, write and edit their own stories.

Responsibilities:
• Develop sources and produce daily enterprise content on issues important to northern Colorado, which considers itself distinct from the metro Denver area.
• Shoot, write and edit stories, usually working without a photojournalist. Ability to set up and shoot live shot.
• Create and foster strong relationships with individuals and groups in northern Colorado.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism, communications or similar is preferred.
• At least 5 - 7 years of experience as a daily journalist. Knowledge of news in northern Colorado preferred.
• Ability to develop deep sources within the community to produce content unique to 9NEWS.
• Strong editorial judgment and interviewing skills.
