WTOL-TV, Toledo’s News Leader! WTOL 11, a TEGNA station has an immediate opening for a Marketing Producer. We’re looking for a creative and strategic individual to work on the production of television and digital marketing materials to promote WTOL, its commercial clients, and community partners. We produce content and marketing that is innovative, brand centric, and really stands out! If want you produce content like that, we want to talk to you!

In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of imaginative minds, tackle a diverse range of projects including promos, project planning and execution and possibly even dabble in some commercial production. We seek an individual with exceptional communication skills, boundless creativity, and an unwavering determination to accomplish goals. Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite is strongly encouraged. Television experience is not required—your enthusiasm, drive, and creative flair are what matter most!

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Director and a team of creative minded producers to execute promotional campaigns that are on brand and prioritize the needs and interests of our viewers
  • .Collaborate with the sales department to create and execute sponsorship opportunities that serve the interests of both our clients and the station
  •  Create and execute creative campaigns on all platforms to all our audiences
  •  Develop and implement sponsorship opportunities that serve the interests of both our clients and the station.
  •  Assist with station branding and promotional initiatives both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • The ability to consistently generate compelling, inspiring creative that fits the station’s brand
  • Effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects is a plus.
  • DSLR Camera Skills a plus • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
