Recruiting for our client, Sr Full Stack Developer - Hybrid at NYC 

We are recruiting a Sr Full Stack Developer role for our client. In this role, you will be the first level of support for production software application issues related to retail Notification applications. Your work will directly impact our customers, and you will have the opportunity to develop monitoring solutions, troubleshoot and debug code, implement fixes, perform SQL queries, and enhance our systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, update existing software, automate support processes, and document systems. If you are passionate about software development, possess strong coding skills, and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you. As this is a contract role, we are unable to candidates on F1 and H1B visas.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop monitoring solutions and troubleshoot/debug production software application issues.
  • Implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, Java) and perform SQL queries.
  • Improve systems for gathering metrics on features and track and resolve technical challenges.
  • Update and enhance existing software and automate support processes.
  • Document systems for reference and training purposes.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
  • Facilitate code reviews and actively participate in design and coding efforts.
  • Play a leadership role within the team, helping to shape its technical direction.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Software Development.
  • Proficiency in the following coding languages: Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with additional technical skills: Mason, Perl, Oracle SQL, Unix/Linux.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple full-stack projects of a similar scope.
  • Previous experience mentoring and guiding team members.
  • Preferred skills: Python and AWS knowledge, FTL (FreeMarker Templates) experience, and a background in retail TPM (Technical Program Management).
  • Commitment to Client's leadership principles: Deliver results and Customer obsession.
