WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Course Instructors to train up the next generation of tech professionals. As a Course Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our students, fostering an inclusive learning environment, leading classroom discussions, and providing individualized instruction and feedback.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver prepared classroom lectures and lead discussions on a variety of technical topics relevant to the course you are teaching (Full Stack Web Development, Data Science, or Digital Marketing)
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success and encourages interactivity.  
  • Grade student assignments and provide timely and constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and TTS program managers to ensure that learning is maximized for our students and meeting their expectations
  • Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to help them prepare for career success.
  • Be up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and education, and incorporate them into your teaching practices to enhance the learning experience for students.

  • Strong knowledge of technical topics you will be teaching including programming languages and software tools.  Some examples for our courses include (but are not limited to):
    • Full Stack Web Development: Git/Github, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Java, OOP, Spring Boot, SQL/databases and APIs
    • Data Science: Statistics, Excel, Git/Github, Conda package managers, Python, SQL, and R.  
    • Digital Marketing: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Analytics, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, and Social Media Marketing.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Experience as a Course Instructor or similar role in a training or classroom environment.  Bonus points for experience using learning management systems, online teaching tools, and/or other educational technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
