Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in test automation using Micro Focus UFT One. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in technical script writing, framework understanding, and implementation with Micro Focus UFT One Unified Functional Testing Platform. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, plans, and test cases for software products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test strategy, plans, and test cases based on product specification documents.
- Perform functional automation testing.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and skills in testing web applications.
- Apply debugging techniques for software systems.
- Provide support for deployments and maintenance activities.
- Continuously improve deployment and software delivery processes.
- Showcase a history of learning new skills and tackling new challenges.
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of QA experience testing Web / Mobile applications.
- 3+ years of experience with test automation using Micro Focus UFT One is mandatory.
- 3+ years of experience with VB Script is mandatory.
- Effective communication skills and a flexible team player.
- Self-driven, creative, and result-oriented.
- High technical competence with a track record of strong technical accomplishments.
- Proven track record for high-quality product delivery.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and build management.
- Knowledge of building and testing large-scale iOS/Android apps and codebases.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
