Teads has an immediate opportunity for a high level Marketing & Communications Manager who is passionate about technology, innovation and online advertising to join our APAC team based in Singapore. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of the Teads APAC brand, communication strategy and marketing initiatives to broaden our visibility within the APAC market. The role will be directly responsible for ensuring Teads achieve strong consumer awareness and critical acclaim on a continuous basis. The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for supporting a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the APAC sales and publishing team, global marketing and product teams.

Who are we looking for?

As the APAC Marketing & Communications Manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, working with the SVP APAC and the Marketing Director EMEA & APAC to shape the marketing and communication strategy for Teads APAC. This role will be responsible for setting a strategy that transforms the way Teads are positioned as a brand in the APAC. The position incorporates all aspects of marketing and communication including driving a top-notch industry presence, identifying and participating in the main APAC events, driving the right mix of events, developing key messages for all sales teams, developing and coordinating specific press relations campaigns, leveraging data and content into interesting sound bites for the press, the advertisers and the media agencies, writing and pitching in press releases or sales decks. Our vision is to be the APAC leader in Online Advertising and this role is crucial to achieve this goal. We are looking for and ambitious, highly articulate individual someone who is passionate about the marketing, ideally with already established connections within the online advertising industry. This is a full time position based in Singapore but may require some travel for international meetings

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation of world-class marketing communications for Teads APAC across our brands/advertisers and agency clients and our publisher portfolio.  
  • Develop and execute Teads APAC’s media and local key messaging strategy across all media, including press, broadcast and publications to raise Teads’ profile and market Teads’ activities.
  • Make sure all communications are in line with the global marketing strategy set by the Marketing Director EMEA & APAC and the CCO.
  • Work closely with the APAC sales and publishing team to ensure they are fully supported with marketing collateral and content such as: case studies local and international, pieces of researches, one pagers, insights, to promote best Teads’ success Stories.
  • Develop, coordinate and manage specific public relations campaigns and related activities that sustain a specific image for our business and cultivates media support.
  • Approve, write and pitch press releases.
  • Work closely with cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and product launches.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of Teads’ global events programme, including associated marketing communications plans, ensuring it is responsive to stakeholder needs and preferences.
  • Ensure events are delivered effectively and efficiently, our impact is consistently measured and stakeholder intelligence is fed back into the business.
  • Manage, develop and implement Teads’ presence at a range of third party exhibitions, working with partners to provide a cost-effective impactful presence.
  • Develop thought-leadership materials designed to enhance our advertisers’, agency partners’ and the industry’s understanding of online video advertising.
  • Work closely with the global marketing team to create innovative content that can be used by our sales teams to generate new business, educate clients/partners on new products/features and engage clients/partners on innovative ways to drive awareness/sales via new marketing techniques.
  • Develop scalable ways to use data and metrics to drive growth and sales for clients.
  • Manage and execute the social media strategy to raise Teads’ profile in APAC.
  • Develop publicity materials (printed and email format) for Teads’ marketing efforts including keeping up to date the media kit.
  • Set (with the SVP APAC, Marketing Director EMEA & APAC and Senior Sales APAC), monitor and forecast an accurate Marketing Budget.
  • Manage the APAC languages website with your APAC counterparts, making sure it is update with fresh, relevant content.

Requirements

  • Professional experience working in the field of communications and marketing with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of a broad range of communication activities – media, websites, publications, marketing, social media, events, etc.
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of working with a wide range of media, developing media strategies and relations, preparing press releases etc.
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing industry leading marketing strategies in an Internet and/or advertising environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the advertising/marketing industries and the opportunity that exists.
  • Experience working with senior marketers at agencies and global brands and expertise supporting and enabling a sales organization.
  • Considerable event experience and successful track record of effective delivery across the full range of communications disciplines.
  • Creative flair to bring fresh ideas to positioning and marketing campaigns.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work on a diverse range of tasks at the same time under pressure and in a non-precious way.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, and experience in managing communications projects from start to finish, with demonstrable experience of successful prioritisation and allocation of resources.
  • Proven experience working with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Proven to be a proactive and diligent self-starter with an ability to co-ordinate and prioritise, utilising resources effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with very high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization and externally.

Experience

  • BA in Marketing or Business and deep knowledge of the online advertising and/or the advertising industry is a plus.
  • Experience managing a multidisciplinary marketing team, including online marketing, PR, events, lead gen, creative, research, analytics.
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing industry leading marketing strategies in an Internet and/or advertising environment.
  • Considerable event experience and successful track record of effective delivery across the full range of communications disciplines.
  • Creative flair to bring fresh ideas to positioning and marketing campaigns; ability to work on a diverse range of tasks at the same time under pressure and in a nonprecious way.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, and experience in managing projects from start to finish, with demonstrable experience of successful prioritisation and allocation of resources.
