Product Marketer

Remote in USA or Canada | Full-time 

XQ is growing and we are looking for a game changing, creative flair and strong bias for action Product Marketer to join our team.  You will own in field marketing, campaign design and creation and account-based marketing. You can take a project from idea to execution. You live and breathe how to build rich content supporting campaigns delivering targeted cohesive narratives across the entire customer journey.

Who you are 

You have a track record of doing the work and leading by example. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills, have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality with extreme attention to detail. You are a content strategist and love working across product marketing, brand, web strategy, content marketing, community, social events and thought leadership. You enjoy analyzing competitive intelligence, industry trend, market position, market share, and growth rates to shape business strategy.

What you’ll be doing 

Reporting to the CEO, your role consists of both internal operational responsibilities – pipeline generation, lead flow, funnel metrics as well as outbound responsibilities – interacting with customers, executing go-to-market strategy, and supporting sales.  With storytelling, strategic and data driven insights, this role will actively enforce and express our brand promise while building deep connections with our customers, prospects, and partners.

  • Define and lead go-to-market efforts in collaboration with business development and product management
  • Build compelling content to fulfill various goals, including establishing thought leadership, growing our footprint at existing customers and landing new customers
  • Execute campaigns and events to fulfill industry leadership and pipeline targets
  • Develop customer success stories using creative formats like video, infographics, and blogs
  • Develop and manage the bottoms-up demand generation plan from leads to opportunities
  • Develop the marketing strategy, framework for execution and the allocation of budget for maximum impact
  • Develop and tailor marketing campaigns (online and traditional) for each market
  • Maximize PR and social visibility for XQ
  • Cross functionally collaborate with core business partners
  • Comprehend the power of strategic SEO
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work in a dynamic environment

What you'll need 

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role at a fast-paced startup
  • 5+ years’ experience of technology product marketing, product management or technical marketing
  • Significant experience managing people and growing marketing teams
  • Metrics driven with strong analytical skills
  • Natural ability to listen, empathize, problem-solve, and find creative solutions
  • Flexible and adaptable; you can hand multiple priorities and projects and pivot on the fly
  • Great organizational skills with high attention to detail 
  • High technical proficiency and strong intuition for business
  • Clear communicator with strong collaboration skills
  • Experience with content creation and proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Creativity to come up with unique concepts for engaging audiences
