Opportunity for Impact

As a TaxBit Enterprise Technical Product Specialist, you will use your tax and accounting industry expertise to accelerate product adoption of our enterprise products and provide strategic consulting to our customers. In close partnership with enterprise account executives and product/engineering teams, you will lead on all technical aspects of the sales process. 

You will have a deep understanding of TaxBit's leading enterprise customer verticals (Tax and Accounting) and effectively demonstrate the power and value of TaxBit’s products and services to enterprise customers. You will drive the adoption and education for our customers and potential clients about our latest product enhancements and how to get the most value from them. You will be an external voice of TaxBit’s Accounting & Tax software, as well as provide feedback to our product & engineering teams, including solution designing, RFP responses, and technical discovery and scoping.

You’ll present technical best practices to prospective customers and serve as a thought partner while helping to sell and close large enterprise deals. You’ll not only influence individual deals, but also help build out processes and tools that serve as the foundation for our Enterprise Tax and Accounting products.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought partner to our account executives and enterprise/government customers on all technical accounting, tax and product aspects of throughout sales process
  • Participate in market intel and competitive knowledge capture alongside GTM team
  • Support continuing education of product knowledge for AE team 
  • Lead technical discovery and scoping conversations to identify customer needs, use cases, and find relevant and feasible solutions for customer needs. 
  • Prepare and present custom demos of TaxBit's Enterprise Tax and Accounting products to C-Suite executives
  • Build rapport and establish credibility with client stakeholders, including tax and accounting subject matter experts and executive personas.
  • Consult, advise, and answer complex questions on TaxBit’s enterprise APIs
  • Prep RFP responses with a heavy focus on the deep dive of technical accounting and tax related questions and content
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Produce reusable content and collateral to support future deal pursuits
  • Systematically share feedback from sales conversations with our Product and Engineering teams
  • Seamlessly hand off deals and transfer knowledge from pre-sales to TaxBit’s post-sales Implementation and Customer Success teams
  • Understand the most up-to-date tax and accounting guidance and regulation for the respective jurisdictions we operate in and sell to. 

Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, or Solutions Engineering role with familiarity into REST API Integrations and SQL Databases
  • 2+ years in a client-facing accounting, audit, or tax role with strong problem solving skills and the ability to understand customer requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand/document customer requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders in Tax and Accounting fields
  • Growth mindset and ability to wear different hats as the needs of the business continue to evolve
  • Familiarity with SaaS and Cloud architecture, and API-based products
  • CPA or finance/accounting background
  • Bonus: Knowledge/expertise in crypto and/or tax

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $170,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications
