Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. We work with some of your favorite disruptor brands—like Calm, Fiverr, and OneWheel—to grow their business through linear and streaming TV. We combine a sophisticated media buying platform with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience.

Named one of the Hottest Ad Tech Companies by Business Insider and Best Places to Work by Inc. Magazine for the third consecutive year, our team includes founders and leaders from Google, Microsoft, Stripe, Shazam, and Facebook. We are growing rapidly as we accelerate our mission to automate the complex landscape of managing and measuring television advertising. We have a long-term goal to make marketing on TV available to businesses of any size.

The core mission of the measurement team is to make data accessible and valuable for our customers, ensuring that measurement metrics are available in a suitable format. Data privacy is a top priority, and we focus on enabling measurement with and without IP and PII data, breaking down walled gardens. Our primary goal is to license and monetize cutting-edge measurement data for our customers.

Given the size and complexity of our data, this is a significant undertaking. Nearly every engineer on our measurement teams at Tatari relies on this data, and as a member of this team, you would be at the center of product innovation. Your work would involve building integrations and UX to onboard customers to Tatari for measurement:

  • Build and evolve pixels and systems for collecting data while being privacy-conscious. We process billions of rows a day.
  • Build integrations with external partners to simplify collecting client events and metrics.
  • Develop data as a large-scale product for Tatari's customers.
  • Create datasets with the Data Science, Product, and measurement teams to power measurement products and features.
  • Work with external data vendors to design and build scalable and reliable ETL data pipelines.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in building large-scale, data-intensive applications with SQL and NoSQL, high-throughput and responsive internal and external APIs for data products, and experience in user experience design.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate product and business requirements into full-stack applications and systems.
  • Build and maintain highly available, high-volume 1st party pixel systems for data gathering and Shopify integration.
  • Design, build, deploy, and support scalable, high-volume data pipelines and applications.
  • Create easy-to-use systems for partners to integrate with our technology platform robustly.
  • Design relational and non-relational data models for optimal data storage and retrieval for data products.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and build new data access interface prototypes for high-dimensional and high-volume data.
  • Participate in technical architecture discussions and peer code reviews.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, engineers, and product managers to understand the company's data-related needs and support them with applications.
  • Identify, document, and promote data engineering best practices on the team and in the larger organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study
  • Expertise in building large-scale applications in Python.
  • 5+ years of experience building full-stack applications emphasizing backend and large-scale applications.
  • Experience building highly available, large-dimensional, responsive data access interfaces and APIs for internal and external customers for data products.
  • Experience in building UX with React and similar technologies.
  • Recent accomplishments working with relational and NoSQL data stores.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with a modern data stack (Databricks, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, real-time databases) and cloud data warehouses such as RedShift and Snowflake.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ($185-205K)
  • Equity compensation
  • 100% coverage for you and your dependents
  • Unlimited PTO and sick days
  • Snacks, drinks, and catered lunches (when it’s safe!)
  • Team building events (when it’s safe!)
  • $1000 annual continued education benefit
  • $500 WFH reimbursement
  • $125 pre-tax monthly stipend to spend on whatever you want
  • Annual mental health awareness app reimbursement
  • FSA and commuter benefits
  • Monthly Company Wellness Day Off (During WFH)
  • Hybrid RTO: 2 flex days a week in 2024. Likely increasing to 3 after, but no more than that. THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION.

At Tatari, we believe in cultivating teams with diverse backgrounds and offering equal opportunities to all. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued, and diversity is celebrated.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
