About the Job
The Marketing team at TaskRabbit is data driven and results oriented. We are seeking a talented individual who has strong analytical skill set to lead and focus on customer retention through email marketing, push, SMS and referral programs. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you will play a critical role in growing and scaling TaskRabbit's client base.

- Marketing Strategy
- Develop lifecycle marketing strategy that encompasses email, push, SMS, and referral programs with the goal of increasing retention, frequency and LTV.
- Build email acquisition plan to grow our email list and improve engagement metrics.
- Create testing roadmap to help improve email metrics and scale the email channel.
- Partner with Data Science to develop client segmentation and contact strategy to increase engagement and usage.
- Partner with Product Team to support overall product adoption to help increase retention.
- Responsible for promotions and discount strategy as part of new user activation and client retention.
- Refine & optimize a referral program that maximizes reach and new user acquisition.
- Manage, mentor, and participate in career development of the retention team.
- Work cross-functionally with Product to build in retention levers to increase frequency.
- Operational Management
- Responsible for meeting targets for the email and communication channels.
- Responsible for campaign execution including building of audiences, links, segmentation, and content.
- Responsible for email list health management.
- Partner with rest of Marketing and Design team to develop compelling and consistent messaging.
- Data Analysis
- Develop and provide segmentation insights to further refine and improve communication to customers.
- Develop & track retention and frequency metrics on a regular basis to uncover actionable trends, insights and forecasts.
- Partner with Data Team to improve reporting capabilities and dashboards.
- Increase visibility and understanding of email channel and customer metrics from engagement to LTV
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working on performance marketing with a focus on user retention and loyalty.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in email marketing.
- Minimum 3+ years experience managing a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of customer journey and lifecycle marketing.
- Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, graphs, formulas, etc.).
- Strong understanding of performance marketing channels and experience optimizing campaigns by relevant KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, etc.
- Analytical mindset and creative thinker to strategize and execute on A/B tests within campaigns.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Great communication skills. You are capable of translating your data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
- Passion for exploring and testing new performance marketing channels.
