The Manager, Strategic Partnerships is accountable for managing and engaging an assigned portfolio of accounts of major partner corporations and foundations year-round to maximize relationships. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, the manager will be responsible for developing and implementing engagement strategies to support the revenue goals of Taproot Foundation. This individual must be collaborative, innovative, action-oriented, and impact-focused.
REVENUE GENERATION & CROSS DEPARTMENTAL MOVES MANAGEMENT (75%)
► Collaborate with program colleagues (Advisory Services and Taproot Plus teams) in order to:
► Build and cultivate year-round relationships with organization points of contact, key volunteers, and decision-makers within an assigned portfolio of accounts
► Work collaboratively in consultative engagement with other team members and Director, Strategic Partnerships
► Manage a pipeline of 75 to 125 middle to low tier foundation prospects and active corporate partners
► Manage key personnel & oversee revenue-generating systems and processes
► Collate, distill, and disseminate business intelligence for the benefit of institutional relationships
► Conduct grant-seeking research, create preparatory materials, proposals, and reporting materials
► Design, present and execute specific action plans to ensure cultivation and stewardship of relationships and to drive revenue growth through the promotion of Taproot Foundation’s earned revenue services and fundable opportunities
► Develop, oversee, and analyze account-specific revenue goals and projections for a portfolio of accounts
► Salesforce design & management, project management systems, and gift processing
► Develop and prepare revenue-generating materials for Taproot Board Members, Senior Staff, etc. to support the partner relationship management
► Adhere to data standards and protocols for capturing and recording information related to a portfolio of accounts
► Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in education and employment
► Minimum three to five years’ work experience in fundraising, account management, sales, or related field.
► Strong understanding of the philanthropic space, especially foundation funders
► Experience securing gifts of $50,000 or more from foundation and corporate funders
► Experience utilizing Consultative Selling practices in fundraising is a plus.
► A demonstrated ability to communicate across a variety of sectors while being comfortable with presenting to groups of various sizes.
► Partner-focused and data-driven.
► Fully proficient with Microsoft Office environment.
► Possess a collaborative, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize concurrent projects.
► Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred

Salary Range: $60,000-$72,500 annually
