Tally is tackling this massive, complex issue by pioneering full-service financial automation to make it easier for people to achieve their financial goals. To start, we built the first and only fully automated debt manager to help people save money and get out of credit card debt faster. Backed by some of the world’s top investors, including Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins ($92MM in total funding to date), Tally’s vision is to automate people’s entire financial lives.
At Tally, PR and communications are critical for driving our mission and vision forward. We are building out a comms team to scale the success we’ve had so far in building trust with the public and directly impacting company growth. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key storyteller for Tally as we define and own the financial automation category.
Lead consumer PR campaigns and initiatives to elevate awareness and credibility with current and potential Tally members.
Manage in-house and third party spokespeople to promote Tally’s automated financial services and educate the public on all things personal finance.
Collaborate with Tally’s analytics and editorial teams to tell compelling, data-driven stories on financial trends and consumer behavior.
Monitor industry news and trends to identify strategic and creative ways for Tally to join relevant conversations in the press and social media.
Support corporate, product and employer brand communications. Research, develop and curate comms assets, including news announcements, bylines, press briefers, awards applications and speaker submissions.
In this Role We Value:
Top-notch verbal and written communication skills. You are comfortable translating complicated concepts into consumer-friendly, digestible content.
Data-driven storyteller. You can analyze a spreadsheet of raw numbers and find the most press-worthy stories to pitch.
Creativity and scrappiness in driving meaningful results. You have a strong track record of consumer and lifestyle press placements that you directly secured.
Passion for media relations. Ideally, you have existing solid relationships with consumer reporters and influencers across various media platforms (digital, print, broadcast).
Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate cross-functionally across the company. You are equally comfortable working with executive leadership as you are with individual contributors.
Willingness to get your hands dirty and wear many hats - No responsibility is too big or too small.
