We’re searching for an experienced Director of Product Marketing to take on the challenge of making Tally’s complex financial offering accessible, compelling and effective in helping people get out of debt faster. This individual will be a key player in empowering customer-led decision-making at Tally, driving an experience that is better for our members and, thus, our business. From collaborating with the Product team on features and the roadmap, to partnering with customer success to ease pain points, to working the rest of the marketing organization to drive efficient growth at scale, this individual will collaborate with teams across the company and will impact on the entire customer experience. This person will own positioning, messaging, greatly influence channel mix and creative, and be a key player in developing product-led growth initiatives. Role Impact: 

  • Partner with our research team to develop cutting-edge quantitative and qualitative insights and translate them into actionable strategies that show an impact on product development, launches and adoption 
  • Embed clear understanding and intuition around our target customers in all employees so that all of our decisions deliver on their needs, wants and alleviate Tally’s members’ stress
  • Own go-to-market strategy and launch execution for new and existing products, features and benefits
  • Translate customer needs and wants into positioning and messaging strategies for products and services, from top-of-funnel awareness messaging to key points along the journey 
  • Partner closely with Product team to build an experience that transforms Tally’s product into one of the leading sources of growth 
  • Serve as the central point of contact for integrated marketing campaigns and ongoing programs to impact member acquisition and retention to help more people get out of debt faster
  • Continue to build Tally’s competitive advantage through ongoing analysis of the competitive space in addition to nonadjacent brands who are driving innovation through customer insights 

In this role we value:

  • 10+ years experience in product marketing and/or marketing. Looking for someone who has experiencing in building a product marketing discipline and carving out clear ways of working across teams 
  • Demonstrated experience in driving successful go-to-market strategies for new and existing products 
  • Highly organized and skilled at connecting the dots, from strategy through execution 
  • Strong analytical skills and data- and insights-driven 
  • Thrives in a collaborative work environment, attacking big problems with big ideas and without ego 
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and motivated to influence decisions without always being the decision maker 
  • Fantastic oral and written communication skills

  • Experience with financial services is a plus
