Take-Two Interactive is seeking a motivated, collaborative and experienced finance professional to join the Royalties group within the Corporate Finance team.  Take-Two’s Finance team provides financial and accounting expertise and support to management, various labels and departments across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting rules, a great attitude and excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. They must have proven ability to be resourceful and business-minded, understand contracts and systems and be very process oriented.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Become the Finance expert on all royalty and license contracts and amendments between 2K and external developers and sports leagues
  • Partner with Legal department to ensure proper contract interpretation
  • Coordinate and prepare contract summaries for review and approval
  • Partner with the royalties and accounting teams to ensure entries are booked accurately
  • Work with FP&A team to ensure calculation of royalty forecast is correct
  • Coordinate royalty audits and assist Legal department with resolving audit disputes
  • Review royalty statements and ensure payments are made accurately and timely
  • Partner with 2K Product Managers to coordinate milestone approvals and payments
  • Ensure all royalties documentation is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Assist with special projects

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting
  • BA/BS degree - major in finance, accounting, business and/or related field
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience reading and understanding contract terms
  • Experience using Enterprise planning system (i.e. Hyperion, Anaplan, Alliant)
  • Must be able to think strategically and possess a detail-oriented, hands-on approach to managing business projects
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting needs, evolving priorities and urgent situations that arise
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels within the organization
  • Pro-active problem solver with a positive attitude the flexibility to work across multiple tasks
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication and writing skills
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Goal oriented and highly organized
