This position reports to the Operations Manager of Mr D.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence and Process Optimization:
- Actively manage and oversee daily operations within specific departments of Mr D, such as order fulfilment, delivery logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and continuously update operational procedures aimed at improving the speed, accuracy, and reliability of the Mr D delivery service.
- Lead initiatives to systematically analyze performance data from various aspects of the business, including delivery times, customer satisfaction scores, and operational costs.
Data Analysis and Process Innovation:
- Champion innovation in operational processes by identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions that address customer-facing operational challenges and reduce inefficiencies.
- Utilise data analytics to generate actionable insights, focusing on improving customer experience and streamlining operational workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse performance data across various business verticals, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and devising innovative solutions to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Team Collaboration and Support:
- Act as liaison with our partners, share insights, and collaborate on strategies to enhance product availability and quality. Address any concerns or challenges promptly to maintain strong, productive relationships
- Provide feedback and insights to our Product Team from both customers and partners to help refine and develop features that enhance the user experience and operational efficiency.
- Manage and resolve payment transaction issues, ensuring a smooth transaction process for customers.
- Oversee the investigation of order discrepancies and the compilation of reports on operational inefficiencies and customer complaints, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Directly supervise and mentor junior operations team members, fostering a team environment that encourages growth and development.
- Provide leadership and guidance, especially during critical situations that require swift action outside of regular business hours.
Emergency Management:
- Proactively manage operational emergencies and system failures, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. This includes being prepared to address emergencies during business hours after 5pm and during weekends, ensuring round-the-clock operational resilience.

Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in commerce, engineering, finance or related field. A master’s degree in the relevant field is an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in operations, particularly in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or a related fast-paced industry.
- Strong experience in using data analytics to inform operational decisions and improvements.
- Proficiency in analysing performance metrics and translating them into actionable insights.
- Experience in managing operational emergencies, including readiness to address issues during after-hours and weekends.
- Experience in roles that require a strong focus on customer satisfaction, with a proven ability to improve customer-facing operations.
- Knowledge of SQL or Python is advantageous
