This position reports to the Operational Analytics Manager
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, and implement various dashboards to create visibility, reduce risk, and improve productivity in DC Operations
- Set up and monitor system health and operational and application metrics
- Root cause analysis of operational issues
- Able to independently troubleshoot issues within the teams' system.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operations reports as a result of collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Identify cost-saving areas and system inefficiencies
- Identify and action trends within the system
- Work with all levels within the business unit to resolve issues.
- Prepares end-users to utilize the system by conducting training.
- Provides reference for end-users by contributing to documentation; providing support and help.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying abreast with the latest industry trends; reviewing professional publications; and upskilling on technology
- Participates in long-term and short-term data analysis and tooling with a focus on increasing productivity, lowering fixed and variable costs, and improving customer experience.
- Measure and report results regularly and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, BTech or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
- In the event that you do not have a bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma (in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering), an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 6 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment.
- 2 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment
- In-depth understanding of best practices relating to system support and monitoring
- Experience building applications with Low-code builders (e.g. Flutterflow, Appgyver, Appsheet, etc.)
- Good database knowledge, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries using SQL
- Experience with one or more system monitoring and alerting system
- Experience designing and developing reports
- Server and Networking experience beneficial
- Understanding and experience in one of the following environments will be beneficial: Supply Chain & Logistics, WMS
- Prior experience within an ecommerce company or warehouse experience will be beneficial
