Mr D Food, a division of takealot.com, is looking for a highly talented CRM Assistant to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for building the Mr D Food brand.

Your Team:

  • Reporting to the CRM Associate 

 Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day execution & quality control of communication campaigns (Email, In App, Push to our base & intergroup company bases) 
  • This includes:
    • Segmentation according to brief specifications
    • Quality checking all campaigns to ensure links are working and brand standards are met, escalate issues as necessary
    • Ensuring that CS is timeously briefed on all communications being sent.
    • Ensuring test mailers are sent for internal approvals & are signed off before communications are scheduled to send.
    • Brief offers in to creative and ensure they are timeously set up.
    • Monitoring and upkeep of CRM/intergroup calendars based on business requirements.
    • Updating unsubscribes and monitoring feedback.
  • Assist with reporting on campaign performance, benchmarks & best practice as needed. 

Minimum requirements:

  • Experience in sending large scale communications.
  • Knowledge of HTML and link tracking.
  • Experience with database segmentation.
  • Experience with quality control for campaign sends.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with campaign reporting.
  • Attention to detail.

  • A basic understanding of google analytics and google adwords
  • Some experience with email marketing tools.
  • The appetite for being involved in a startup environment

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • A minimum of 1  years working within a marketing/CRM role
