About the Role:

This is an exciting role working within TAE eMobility Platform Technology Group at Principal Engineer level. Working at System level across the full breadth of the Electrification system and across the full Systems Engineering V.

Key Aspects of the role

  • Working within TAE eMobility Platform Technology Group at Principal Engineer level
  • Working across multiple areas of the TAE Power business to technically deliver platform technology solutions for the E-Mobility group
  • Working on a range of projects ranging from feasibility studies, core technology development and customer application deployment as required
  • Driving and leading robust application of a world class systematic engineering approach
  • Facilitating arbitration and decision making at System level
  • Close working with Programme Management function

Qualifications, Functional Experience & Skills

  • Ideally degree qualified in relevant Engineering or Scientific discipline
  • Knowledge of or experience with ideally all but certainly some of the key sub-systems and technologies within the Electrification system (Cells, Batteries, eMachines, Power Electronics, OBC, BMS, Controls & Software etc)
  • Ability to distill complex issues to develop next steps, solutions and recommendations
  • Some familiarity or awareness of engineering tools relevant to Electrification system / sub-system development desirable
  • An awareness of the use of 1D system level analysis tools
  • Awareness of industry standards ISO 9001, IATF 196949, ISO26262 etc
