About the Job: 

 

Join the exciting growth journey of Taco Bell Europe as the Operations Excellence lead.  You will be the “glue” that joins the RSC across cross-functional projects with a lens of “operational ease” in order to deliver world class Team Member and Guest experiences that fuels Top Line growth.

 

You will be laser focussed on making the lives of our RGM’s easier through operational simplification and efficiencies. Whilst most of your focus will be on the UK you will have the exciting opportunity to share best practice and know-how with our European markets with a one system approach.

 

 

 

 

 

The Day-to-Day: 

 

SEAMLESS EXPERIENCES

  •  Own the iterative end to end experience launch programme.
  • Drive project management excellence by maintaining detailed planning to lead the cross-function efforts in bringing new products to market with a “Get It Right First Time” lens.
  • Coordinate, write and produce the Operational communications to launch new experiences including virtual sessions and face to face where appropriate.
  • Plan and cost any additional small wares, equipment or packaging required to launch a new product – be central to the testing and provide feedback to the cross-function team.
  • Support the Technology team ensuring all Points of Sale and restaurant technology is ready and fit for purpose – this will include testing prelaunch.

 

 REAL, INNOVATIVE CRAVABLE FOOD

  •  Design the guardrails for new product launches, partnering with food innovation and marketing to ensure that the menu calendar meets ease and speed targets.
  • Partner with marketing and QA on the testing of new processes or products.  Provide robust and detailed feedback that ensures we remain with the operational guardrails of ease and speed.
  • Design programmes with training that drives perfect execution of food in our restaurants.

 

LIVE MAS CULTURE AND BRAND

  • Develop a communication strategy for our restaurant teams that drives execution and excellence in our restaurants.
  • Design and write communications for Operations ensuring it meets brand standards and is focussed on operational ease.
  • Coordinate the communication from the RSC cross function departments to ensure communications are clear and fit for purpose.
  • Innovate in the way that we communicate with our teams - experimenting with new technology/platforms that lands key messages but also showcases the Live Mas Culture.
  • Provide any admin support around reporting or incentives that will be planned throughout the year.
  • Partner with Operations and People teams to coordinate brand and culture initiatives across the UK and Europe

 

 PROFITABLE GROWTH

  • Partnering with the field and our senior operators to establish critical focus for process improvement or innovation.
  • Partner with Operations, Technology and QA to continue to look for operational efficiencies that will deliver a cost reduction or labour reallocation that drives transaction growth
  • Co-ordinate the operations programmes of work for the year to ensure there is a balance of messages landing with our restaurant teams at appropriate times of the year.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all systems tools and processes are up to date and aid operational ease - for example Zenput or Restaurant Success Routines.

 

 

Is this you? 

  • At least 5 years of experience delivering exceptional results in fast paced QSR or Retail background. Both multi-unit management and Head office experience is preferred.
  • Results obsessed by delivering projects and initiatives to the highest standard. You need to be both “hands on” as well as “big picture”.
  • You are a natural born leader and can influence at both the most senior levels of the organization and with people at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player; ability to work effectively within an environment with constantly changing priorities.
