What you will do
We are looking for a mid to senior level Legal Counsel to join our fast-growing Sysdig Legal team, reporting to the Senior Director of Legal. You will become the “go to” resource for regional and global legal issues and contracts of all kinds, with an emphasis on supporting our global Sales team and negotiating commercial deals on a worldwide basis.
What you will bring with you
Legal education from a reputable university in the US
At least 7 years of relevant experience as qualified attorney practicing law in the US, preferably part of it as an in-house counsel in a high growth SaaS environment
Excellent drafting, decision-making, and efficient deal closure skills
You have experience with privacy matters, including experience negotiating Data Processing Agreements
You have experience with data protection matters, including evaluating customer and vendor security requirements in a SaaS environment
You are comfortable with channel business, including alliances and partner program development.
Experience in employment, IP, M&A, and/or working with open source software is a bonus (or a willingness to learn)
Experience working with and managing outside counsel
