Syndigo is a rapidly growing USA-based software SaaS company looking to expand our footprint in Australia. Our innovative solutions are designed to empower businesses to optimize their operations and enhance productivity. As our First Sales Hire in Australia, the VP of Sales will play a pivotal role in establishing our presence in the region. You will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with potential clients, and navigating the unique market landscape. This position offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to scale into a leadership role as we expand further into the Australian market.

HOW WE'LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored for the Australian market. 
  • Identify and engage potential clients, building a robust pipeline of opportunities. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions. 
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and outreach efforts specific to Australia. 
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the leadership team for product and strategy improvements. 
  • Close deals and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation. 
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates. 
  • Report on sales metrics, forecasts, and key performance indicators

As our first sales hire in Australia, you will receive comprehensive support to ensure your success in this role. This includes:

  • Direct Presales Support in Australia: You will have access to a dedicated presales headcount that will assist you in demos for potential clients and crafting tailored presentations, ensuring you can engage effectively and address their specific needs. 
  • Training and Onboarding: A thorough training program that covers our products, sales processes, and market positioning to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills. 
  • Marketing Resources: Access to tailored marketing materials and campaigns that resonate with the Australian audience to help you generate leads effectively. 
  • Sales Enablement Tools: Provision of tools and software that streamline your sales processes, enhance productivity, and facilitate client management. 
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Ongoing support from the USA-based leadership team and experienced sales professionals who can provide advice, share best practices, and offer strategic insights. 
  • Collaboration Opportunities: Regular check-ins and collaborative sessions with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align strategies and address any challenges. 
  • Performance Metrics: Clear and measurable performance indicators to track your success and ensure alignment with company goals.

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU:

  • 5+ years of a Proven track record in sales, preferably within the SaaS industry. 
  • 1+ years of previous leadership experience preferred 
  • Strong understanding of the Australian market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience in scaling sales efforts and leading teams is a plus.
  • Passion for technology and helping businesses succeed
