The Data Capture team works within our proprietary software applications to transcribe product data for our database platform. The Data Capture Associate I is the entry level position for this team. The team members in this role work together to achieve a variety of production goals to meet client deliverable needs.

This role will be based in Gurgaon, India

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Reviews product images and identifies information required for accurate data capture.

· Selects the appropriate attributes to be completed for the product and ensures that the information matches packaging while meeting formatting standards.

· Enters all necessary data for required attributes.

· Ensures data quality expectations are met within product records by proofreading work and following Syndigo Data Capture guidelines.

o Achieves 95% accuracy rate or higher.

o Works on achieving team goal of 100% accuracy on nutrition and ingredient information.

· Meets minimum daily production task goals while working towards improving quality and speed.

o Fluency is indicated by a daily average of 45+ products

· Completes all assigned tasks within a timely manner.

o Assists team to meet 99% on-time goal.

· Regularly pivots between tasks and services – minimum requirement of fluency for one Core service area within 12 months.

o Fluency = ability to both capture data and QA data for all necessary product types in service.

o Areas of service include but not limited to:

§ Intake Coding

§ Profiling

§ Custom Coding

§ Multi-Language Coding

· Audits posted product data for consistency and accuracy as requested.

· Complies with all team operational process requirements to ensure efficient communication and completion of workload.

· Works to maintain a minimum typing speed of 50+ words per minute in English.

· Works to become familiar with various product types and brands to ensure proper product processing.

· All other tasks as assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good oral and written English communication skills

· Strong reading comprehension, grammar, spelling and analytical skills

· Proficiency and accuracy in use of standard keyboard/data entry tools

· Ability to adapt to changing technologies and requirements

· Comfortable with ambiguity

· Flexibility in schedule to allow for production workflow to stay consistent

 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS:

· Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM in English

· Spanish language skills

· French language skills

· Familiarity with US, North American, Canadian, and/or European CPG products and brands

· Advanced proofreading skills

· Proven high attention to detail
