We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who can help us create the most positive customer product experience. We are looking for a player/leader who can write automated tests and who can own the framework(s) to manage and support these tests.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Involved in product requirements & design meetings and is required to understand the product feature-set well.
Will meet with the development team during the design phases and deliver a detailed test plan for the features, well ahead of the release.
Write extensive test cases to the existing product flow and reduce test deficits.
Can test complex product capabilities and can document them effectively for future references.
Build and manage automation framework with detailed test coverage that will help increase time to stability for releases.
Run regression tests and release smoke tests periodically and always maintain the product quality.
Develop a plan for daily testing of key product work paths and flows
Work with customer support to understand customer escalations and come up with test scenarios that will avoid the recurrence of the same issue.
Work with the UX/Product Management team to continuously improve the product.
BS/MS degree or equivalent with 5+ years of overall QA engineering experience.
Must have experience with CI/CD software like Jenkins, Gitlab, or Github.
Must have test experience with cloud-based SaaS software.
Programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or other programming languages.
Have test automation experiences like Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber.
Have experience with test management tools like TestRail.
A good understanding of REST APIs and protocols to connect to external systems.
Has working knowledge of testing APIs and complex UI workflows.
Has successfully led QA efforts with minimal management involvement.
Have experience with CRM, Marketing automation, or ERP systems.
Has prior experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
Has experience with frontend and backend testing.
Has release management experience.
A curious mind around breaking the product and identifying severe shortcomings that otherwise would become customer escalations.
