Who You Are

It’s the reason you’re the sibling your mom calls when she forgets how to open a pdf and your friends won’t watch sports with you— they’re caught up in the emotion while you’re tactically breaking down the plays. 

It’s also what makes you such an incredible Sales Engineer; you don’t just hear the prospect’s pain points, you understand them. Even when you’re approached with a new problem or use-case we’ve never solved, your thorough grasp of everything a product can do means you almost always find a solution.

More importantly than any of your technical knowledge is your ability to create relationships; you don’t just solve, you sell. Your warm approach to prospect and customer conversations leaves people feeling that their question was answered, yes— but also that they were helped, that there’s someone who they can trust with their most complex situations. 

You’re a team player passionate about working closely with other members of the sales team to tag-team the exciting job of getting deals to close. You love the thrill of a signed contract, and you’re ready to tackle a brand new challenge.

About the Role 

In this role you will:

  • Learn and apply SPICED sales methodology to team sell with globally distributed Account Executives
  • Demonstrate value utilizing the Swoogo SaaS application
  • Collaborate across departments to complete security assessments and RFP’s
  • Develop and document proof of concepts and enablement materials

What You’ve Done Before

  • 1-3 years of technical experience working in SaaS
  • Strong technical chops; ability to hold your own with our developers and engineers
  • Polished communication skills; professional and client-friendly demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and juggle commitments from multiple teams and clients
  • Previous experience working remotely – our whole team is distributed

It’d be Great if You’ve Done This 

  • Experience in cybersecurity, and an understanding of privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Exposure to one or more of our integration partners (Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot)
  • Understanding of the event industry (even if only from attending concerts)
