The Culinary Team is responsible for all menu innovation for the brand. Scratch cooking is one of the main pillars of the culinary team. Creating recipes that are delicious, healthy and transparent are the guardrails that help us achieve excellence. We have a focus on using the highest quality base ingredients that are in season, and locally sourced in each market. Writing and validating recipes and tools that are user friendly, and produce the most consistent and delicious food.
The culinary intern is responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. In addition, you'll be responsible for:
Maintain food stocks and organization of the test kitchen at all times
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
Manage directives & projects in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
Visually inspect all food sent from the vendors.
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.
Prepare orders for supplies and food items, as needed
We're looking for a commitment of 3-6 months, culinary degree is highly desirable but not required, 6 months experience in a fast paced kitchen environment, willingness to learn, and work full time with schedule flexibility.
