Benefits + Reporting Coordinator
The Benefits + Reporting Coordinator is a member of the People Operations Team at sweetgreen, and is responsible for many Human Resources processes including tasks related to the affordable care act, open enrollment, ongoing benefits eligibility and internal company reporting. In support of a high-growth organization, the People Operations team is simultaneously focused on developing and improving these processes as well as ensuring the efficient functioning day-to-day.
The Benefits + Reporting Coordinatort will provide support to the team in multiple areas. Our ideal candidate possesses tremendous multi-tasking and project management skills, with a passion for supporting people and being a vital resource to the team. Core Job Duties + Responsibilities:
Assists employees and management with HR questions, concerns, or requests.
Serves as systems administrator for HRIS, Time & Attendance and HR service ticketing systems
Support information intake for all employee leave requests
Serve as liason between workers compensation vendor and sweetgreen to support the claims process
Responds thoughtfully and thoroughly to inquiries to minimize unnecessary follow-up and clarifications.
Runs regular reports to support needs of multiple departments and initiatives including internal audits for governance and compliance.
Administers and determines eligibility for monthly ACA benefit process.
Fosters ongoing relationships with benefit carriers and other related vendors.
Facilitates annual benefits open enrollment as well as ongoing benefit enrollment.
Support onboarding of newly hired employees
Performs administrative duties as needed
Desired Traits + Skills
1+ years benefit administrator experience preferred.
1+ years experience with federal and state leaves processing preferred
Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and making adjustments to plans.
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Customer service mindset
Ability to work under pressure and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Exceptional Excel skills including the ability to build complex formulas and create pivot tables.
