We are looking for a Chief Revenue Officer to lead our sales, customer success and marketing functions. You will be responsible for developing and executing our direct sales, partnership, client success, marketing and branding strategies.  We are a lean organization, searching for a candidate who is adept at selling solutions with a proven ability to win new business. This job has elements of strategy, sales, relationship development, project management and execution. 

The ideal candidate will draw upon creativity, problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. 

As the Chief Revenue Officer, your core responsibilities will be to: 

  • Generate and drive new business through building out our direct sales, partnerships, customer success and marketing strategy and functions 
  • Work with the rest of the C-Suite to ensure the company is aligned to deliver on its sales goals 
  • Expand our customer base in line with our longer-term CAC and growth goals 
  • Bring a scale mindset to the sales and marketing strategies and functions, as well as our customer renewal, upsell and cross-sell strategies
  • Work with CEO and other executives to identify, research and execute strategic sales, marketing and client success projects e.g. strategy to expand into international markets
  • Interface with our board and investors on all things revenue
  • Take a very data-driven approach to our analytics to ensure we fully understand our growth drivers and allocate our capital in a data-driven manner
  • Ensure that everything in our revenue operations is world class.  Excellence is one of our core values and we want to ensure that we hold ourselves to the highest standards
  • Utilize market data, customer feedback and financial indicators to work with our internal teams to set pricing for existing and new products, now and as we grow
  • Work with finance to align on sales goals and contracting, compensation plans and budgeting
  • Work with our product group to launch and promote new offerings
  • Work with People Operations to scale the sales, marketing and client success organizations as we grow our client base and expand our product offering 

Who you are 

  • 6+ Years of experience in a B2B enterprise SaaS software environment 
  • Experience running and scaling sales and marketing organizations 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or other advanced degree highly preferred
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and business judgement
  • Proven experience working with executive leadership of large companies
  • Communicate effectively to share learnings and make clear group decisions
  • You present your work with clarity and confidence
  • You have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, environment; an entrepreneurial, ownership attitude
  • You are excited to work in an environment that values collaboration
