What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Category Manager who will own end-to-end procurement activities within the Technology category, reporting to the Head of Strategic Sourcing. In this high-visibility role, you’ll be a trusted advisor to multiple executive business partners. You are a problem solver, strategic thinker, and a seasoned negotiator who has broad and deep technical expertise.
What you’ll be working on
- Create and execute short and long-range savings strategies for commodities, including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, IT, Telecom, Production Services, and COR.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to business partners in well-formulated presentations that are supported by data analysis, market research, and your expertise in the Tech category.
- Establish a high-performing portfolio of preferred suppliers.
- Work with business partners to develop business cases for new requests and facilitate make/buy decisions with a focus on ROI and TCO.
- Manage RFx activities with support from the Procurement Specialists team.
- Review, redline, negotiate, and execute new and renewal supplier agreements.
- Manage the outsourced SaaS renewals support team/program.
- Partner with Privacy and Security teams on new supplier diligence to limit risks, ensuring our standard requirements are met.
- Conduct business reviews and maintain relationships with top suppliers.
We’d love to hear from people with
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a Technology Procurement role with at least 3 years at a tech company; 2+ years in an IT or engineering role is also desired.
- 2+ years of people or outsourced service delivery program management.
- Proficient in general accounting and Microsoft Excel (adept at telling compelling stories through data).
- Advanced first-hand experience in commercial contracting and data privacy.
- Extensive experience supporting and presenting to executives.
- A strong negotiator who influences at the executive level.
- Proficient in Coupa P2P and Malbek CMS, or comparable.
