What we're looking for

Momentive is looking for a passionate Senior Program Manager with experience leading Center of Excellence (CoE) and Tools efforts in both large and small scale companies. You'll work cross-functionally, across Business Units, with teams including Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Customer Success and more. This is a brand new position we are adding to our PMO org, and you will report into our Director, PMO.

You will

  • Lead multiple complex and technically essential programs, throughout our business units (pillars) and company wide initiatives in collaboration with the enterprise program management office
  • Manage company-wide CoE and tools in partnership with program management and global leadership teams
  • Build, and lead the CoE across company business units (pillars) portfolios; educate, train and evangelize PMO frameworks, methodologies and best practices; including, but not limited to PMO processes, portals, dashboards and other artifacts and ceremonies. Lead reviews to ensure continuous program management efficiencies across the entire portfolio. 
  • Ensure standardization and usage consistency of project, program and portfolio management tools. Lead implementations, reviews and training sessions to ensure adoption across pillars.
  • Break down silos to ensure a collaborative, holistic, and consistent company-wide pmo processes and pmo framework across pillars and cross functional teams
  • Drive multiple unique workstreams at a single time and summarize these into executive view points
  • Drive CoE and project, program and portfolio management tools retrospectives across the business units to identify challenges and prioritize changes
  • Manage tools and CoE, across company product portfolios, including product roadmaps, essential objectives/OKRs, and other Program/Product/Engineering tools with iterative reviews to ensure continuous program management efficiencies
  • Guide multiple unique workstreams at a single time and summarize these into executive view points
  • Drive CoE and tools retrospectives across the business units to identify challenges and prioritize changes
  • Assess operational processes to identify potential areas of conflict, and develop options to solve/improve; drive ongoing process improvements to improve execution and efficiency
  • Create and present crisp and complete metrics and reporting to support planning, program steering, to key stakeholders, and to executive team
  • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters transparency, autonomy, innovation, and learning
  • Mentor others in best practices for planning and execution; maintain high standards of communication and consistency

You have

  • 8+ years of program management experience, with 5+ in tools and Center of Excellence (CoE) experience with SaaS or Cloud based products
  • Proficiency in program management, planning and reporting tools such as Atlassian Suite (jira, portfolio align, confluence); Trello; Smartsheets, Asana
  • Experience facilitating planning and coordination efforts across leadership, Engineering, Product and Design teams to report on schedules and planning, tracking, and communicating status
  • Experience with story telling, guide Steering Committees and cross functional team meetings to achieve while mitigating and removing obstacles
  • Persistent and unshakeable in driving long term impactful transformation while being able to quickly shift gears and changing immediate strategies to reach goals
  • Experience managing and leading Digital Transformation of pmo methodologies, framework, tools and CoE through the whole lifecycle; requirements gathering to research, through implementation and post-implementation engagement, training and ongoing maintenance
  • Strong Program Management experience and understanding of product and software development lifecycle, including go to market
  • Ability to build digestible messaging and executive communications that drive clear decisions
