More about the Platform Engineering team
The team takes care of many architecture components, that our feature teams us in a self-service manner to improve the overall product. This team is composed of System Engineers, Software Engineers in Test and Back-end Engineers.
As a Java engineer you'll deal with Asynchronous Microservices, Kafka and its ecosystem (including Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams) and Debezium with Outbox pattern, while deploying it with advanced Kubernetes resources to empower the desired architecture.
Get ready to be challenged and put your architecture ideas to practice, and work as part of agile teams consisting of over 40 engineers who love to experiment, learn new things and share knowledge.
By designing and implementing architecture components you'll work with those teams to understand their pain points and converge your ideas into practice, value collaboration and lead technical efforts is an important part of this role.
- 5+ years of practical experience with Java or other JVM languages, Apache Kafka, Spring Boot and Kotlin are nice to have!
- Architecture design experience to deal with problems as: Eventual consistency, distributed systems and transactions, microservices
- DevOps mindset, you care how the software you write is running in the infrastructure, experience with Kubernetes and AWS is desirable!
- You're an advocate for collaboration, in the platform team you will work with all other teams to find the best outcomes
